The documentation of the Business Management System includes:
- A Quality Policy and Business Objectives;
- This Business System Policy Manual;
- Procedures and records required by the latest ISO 9001:2008 Certified Standard
- Additional procedures and records deemed by top management to be necessary for effective planning, operation, and control of the System.
Main Sail has defined its management system formally, and has chosen the latest ISO 9001:2008 Certified Standard as the basis for that system. The ISO 9001:2008 Certified Standard sets requirements for a quality management system based on a process approach. Main Sail’s business is comprised of a set of repeatable business processes and quality processes that work together to provide consistent quality service. Main Sail has chosen to refer to these processes and its management practices to support these processes as its Business Management System.
Main Sail will maintain certification of its Business Management System to the latest ISO 9001:2008 Certified Standard by an accredited Registrar.
