Our history... Where we
started... to where we are today...
Main Sail was founded in
2001 as a Veteran-Owned Small Business, primarily
focused on providing SAP and other ERP related services
to commercial clients with our core capability focused
on staffing for ERP implementations.
We've been fortunate to experience
significant growth over the years, including providing
support to several Fortune 500 companies, as well as
expanding into the Public Sector, with extensive
experience gained supporting the U.S. Department of
Defense (DoD), U.S. Department of Homeland Security
(DHS), and other federal, state, and local government
agencies. Our experience spans a broad industry
spectrum, including aerospace and defense, automotive,
chemical, oil and gas, distribution and logistics and
discrete manufacturing. We have supported our clients
with process re-engineering, stakeholder strategy
development, program and project management, systems
engineering and integration, architecture design and
other enterprise services.
Our core capabilities have both
grown and become more targeted to providing our clients
with process and technology solutions focused on
achieving desired business performance improvements.
Rather than starting by addressing performance issues
from a technical perspective, we begin and center our
efforts around Business Process Management (BPM).
Our expertise in business process improvement
methodologies includes Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma,
and Critical Chain Project Management (Theory of
Constraints). This expertise uniquely enables Main Sail
to provide the most efficient process and technology
solutions for our client’s business needs.
