When you sign up to be part of Main Sail’s Employer of Record program, you become the administrator of your own personal business center. You have total visibility to all of your contracts, timesheets, expenses, invoices and payments. You have the freedom to distribute your revenue at intervals and amounts of your choosing.
Time Tracking, Invoicing & Collections
Our Employer of Record service provides you with a government contracting-compliant time entry system to enter your timesheets. We invoice your client and follow up to ensure prompt payment. The time entry, approval, invoicing and payment are all carefully tracked to provide an excellent audit trail.
Expense Tracking & Reimbursement
Our Employer of Record program allows you to submit billable client expenses, non-billable business expenses and personal medical expenses on a pre-tax basis.
Client-paid expenses are reimbursable and are exempt from the service fee. Medical and business expenses are also exempt from the service fee and are processed in real time so you do not have to wait until the end of the year to deduct them. All of your expenses are carefully tracked through your business center so you always have access to and documentation of your expense records.
As the administrator of your own personal business center, you have complete visibility to the payment process. Self-directed and flexible payments allow you to dictate how much of your revenue you wish to receive on each payroll cycle. As long as there is revenue in your business center, you have the freedom to distribute it as you wish. Your Business Center Payout Report includes a detailed breakdown of your account revenue.
Personal Administrative Support
We provide you with one-on-one business center support from one of Main Sail’s Employee of Record administrators. We stand beside you from contract negotiations all the way through payrolling and we are available to help every step of the way.
